Stamp Review Crew – Endless Wishes

It’s blog hop time with the Stamp Review Crew! Can you believe this is our one-year anniversary? It’s been such a great experience for me – the time has flown by.

This week we’re featuring the Endless Wishes stamp set. Last year Stampin’ Up released a limited number of these sets. They sold out almost immediately. There was so much begging and pleading that Stampin’ Up released another batch, which also sold out quickly. I was one of the lucky ones that got mine the first go round. But you can’t keep a good stamp set down. It reappeared in this year’s holiday catalog, which means if you don’t have this set, there’s still time to get it.

My first card is not too original. There are plenty of samples online that are similar. I’m getting lots of mileage out of my Trim the Tree paper stack and this makes me think of candy canes. I’m also trying to use more embellishments on my cards. Can you see the clear vintage button in the center of the snowflake?

I used sponging and heat embossing on this next one. The snowflakes were stamped and embossed with white embossing powder and then I masked and sponged with Tempting Turquoise and Night of Navy.

Finally, here is a card I made when I originally got this set. Don’t know if you can tell, but there’s a spritz of glimmer mist in the sponged area that I made with the shimmer paint Stampin’ Up used to sell. I may go back and do it to the blue card above. It adds so much sparkle.

Now hop on over to Mike’s blog to see what he has in store for you – I am always amazed at his creativity!

Great cards! I love the heat embossing and sponging of the second card! Very nice! Love the clean and simple look of the first card. Makes it easy if you want to mass produce it but still looks very effective. Thanks for sharing!

Wow oh wow! These are all stunners! Sponging is an all time favorite of mine also, and you really excelled at it with the last 2 cards. I am pretty sure I pinned the last one the first time around 🙂
