Stamp Review Crew – Oh, Hello

SRC-oh,-hello-bannerOh, Hello – and welcome to another round of The Stamp Review Crew. Our group of Stampin’ Up demonstrators brings you great ideas for a different set on the first and third Monday of each month. This week we’re featuring the Oh, Hello stamp set. If you’re hopping in order, you just arrived from Deb Courier’s awesome site. But feel free to jump in at any point. There are lots of great projects this week!

I made some pretty CAS (clean and simple) cards this week as I am still stamping one-handed.  First up is one inspired by a card sketch from the Case This Sketch blog, number 31 to be exact. I used the Gumball Green chevron paper from the Watercolor Wonder dsp. I know I say it each time I post a card made with this paper, but I love this set! I’m already on my second pack, which is pretty amazing for a paper hoarder like me. Trying hard to reform.

Next up is a card using lots of scraps from the Sweet Sorbet Sale-A-Bration dsp. Like I said, I’m trying to use up every scrap of paper from my dsp packs.

I hope you liked my cards. Now on to Holly’s blog and some more amazing projects.

Two lovely cards for a one-handed stamper! And you’re doing a great job using up your DSP…that’s a challenge!

  2. Yapha says:

Gorgeous cards! I love how clean the first one is. Yay to you for using that delicious paper, too!

  3. Shana Gaff says:

Wow, amazing work for stamping one-handed! I love your CAS card. That layout is wonderful! The banners on your second card are so much fun. Great way to use up all those DSP scraps!

Clean and simple is sometimes the hardest (at least I think so!) These are delightful. The black accents on each are really eye catching.

  6. One handed??? SERIOUSLY??? Most people can’t stamp HALF this good with TWO hands!! Love BOTH of these (I’m gonna miss that Sweet Sorbet paper … love all your darling banners!)! 🙂

Clean and Simple…. and stunning! I LOVE the way you have let the DSP shine on both cards, and supported it with the chevron embossing on the second card. One handed stamping sounds difficult, but you make it look easy 🙂

Sorry you are stamping one handed but you still did a great job! Both cards are really lovely and not only show the stamp set, but also ways to use up scraps of paper. Gotta love that! Hope you get back to two hand stamping soon.
